This noble grape variety from Burgundy has been growing in the German part of Switzerland since the 16th century. The grape has optimally adapted to our moderate climate and the barren Jurassic chalky soil of the Tschäpperli. Fermented on the grapes’ pulp and matured in a large oak barrel (4000lt), this full-bodied Pinot noir develops it’s ample potential with finesse, fruitiness and elegance.
